Leslie Baranco Martin is the mother of retired NFL player Doug Martin, a Boise State graduate, a first round draft pick and 2 time Pro-Bowler for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Leslie is a new Certified NFLPA Agent with eight years of NFL family experience who educates and mentors other parents of college and professional football hopefuls. 

Leslie Baranco Martin has served as a Deputy District Attorney for San Joaquin County for over 20 years.   She specializes in juvenile cases and understands our youth’s need to see that members from their community care about their future. 

Leslie received her law degree from Hastings College of the Law and a bachelor’s degree in engineering from UC Berkeley.  

Leslie was the first African American female elected to lead the city of Stockton.  For ten years she was honored to serve as a city council member and vice mayor.   

Leslie continues to be active in San Joaquin County through her leadership roles in PFPMA (Professional Football Players Mothers Association) BWOPA (Black Women Organized for Political Action), and The Links, Inc., Stockton (CA) Chapter. She also followed in her mother’s footsteps and is a proud member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Leslie is the mother of another adult daughter, Gabrielle, a communications graduate of Howard University and Division I volleyball player who produces sports and news television for a Los Angeles station.

For relaxation, Leslie enjoys traveling, snorkeling, hiking and dancing exercises.
