Elder Karen Robinson, ChaplainSon: Don Carey, III, Safety Elder Karen Robinson is the 4th of 5 children born to Pastor Leon Trotter Sr. of Grand Rapids, Michigan and Elect Lady Ora Plummer of Virginia Beach VA. At an early age, she gave her life to Christ through the ministry of her grandfather; Administrative Assistant to the 4th Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction Rev. Dank Tyler founder of Mt. Zion COGIC. Because music has always been consistent in Elder Robinson’s life, at the age of 18 God began developing her calling as a Minister of Music as a vocalist and Choir director on a Local, District, State and Jurisdictional level. The Lord spoke to Elder Robinson and commissioned her through Jeremiah 1:5-10 to step out into the vineyard, to walk in her prophetic and Impartation of Deliverance ministry. She has a passion for assisting “Hurting Women”. Shortly after she accepted her calling as a Jr. Missionary she received her Missionary license under the ministry of the late Bishop L.E. Willis Sr. (Virginia) Elder Robinson has been active in multiple areas of ministry and in leadership. She has served in auxiliaries such as Hospitality, Youth Ministry, Worship Events, Church Administrator, Finance Committee and Evangelism, standing on the word of God in “Colossians 3:23-24, And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ.” Additionally, she serves in the community as Chaplain of the Professional Football Players Mothers Association, Executive Life Coach, supports African American Associate Network of Chesapeake, and The Women’s Network of Chesapeake. She has a degree in Business Administration. Mother of 5 children, her 10 grandchildren fondly refer to her as YaYa. Elder Robinsons currently resides in Norfolk, VA with her loving husband of 17 years, Mr. William H. Robinson III. She is known as a social butterfly that sings like a hummingbird. She currently serves as Assistant Pastor (affectionately called Pastor K) Adult Sunday School Teacher and President of the Music at Cornerstone City of Refuge Ministry Int. under the ministry and guidance of Apostle D. R. Ducksworth and Pastor R. Ducksworth. Elder Robinson’s favorite statement is: “My loyalty is to God...My Commitment is to Ministry” |
