Brenda LS Matthews, TreasurerSon: Jordan A Matthews, Wide Receiver Ms. Matthews earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science from Jackson State University and Master of Science Degree Management Information Systems from Florida Institute of Technology. She also earned her Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification, Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC) Designation, Certificate in Financial Planning and Executive Leadership Coaching. Ms. Matthews is a life member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. where she served on the executive board. Ms. Matthews is Executive Director of Matthews Mission and Vice-Chair of Hogan YMCA. As a member of Women’s Economic Development Council (WEDC) and Leadership Greater Huntsville, Ms. Matthews and other community leaders seek to enhance their entire community through philanthropic and volunteer opportunities. Ms. Matthews is a Financial Advisor and a System Engineer for The Department of Defense. Ms. Matthews resides in Madison, AL with her husband Roderick (Rod) of 32 years. They the proud parents of two sons: Justin and Jordan, one daughter-in-law, Cheyna and a grandson, Josiah. Hobbies and special interests include: volunteering, spending time with family, sports, listening to music, exercising, gardening, and reading. |
