Audrey Garrett, Assistant Secretary

Son:  Myles Garrett, Defensive End

Audrey Garrett has more than 35 years of experience in management, public relations and marketing. Audrey has served in her community for many years to build and embolden women to be their best selves. During her career, Audrey has been a successful manager and executive in technology and marketing. She currently holds the position as Director of Marketing and Public Relations at 15Flash Marketing and Management (15FlashMMG). Audrey's role with 15FlashMMG was created to provide an avenue for development and growth of the philanthropic efforts desired by her son Myles Garrett as he entered into the NFL as the #1 pick of the 2017 draft.

Fully embracing the commitment to give back and bring awareness to important issues within the community, Audrey joined the Professional Football Players Mothers Association (PFPMA) organization in 2018, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting families, communities and charitable causes in the NFL cities in which their members and sons live and work. As the parent of three high profile athletes, she is committed to ensuring that the need for social action and community-need awareness be passed on and embraced by to the future generations of her family. Audrey has developed a platform to discuss topics that impact her community and she is actively working to further the discussion about women in leadership, female authenticity and all aspects of social justice and social change. Audrey is determined to let her voice be heard and to shine a light of the disparities women face in their climb towards success.

Prior to 15Flash MMG, Audrey used her considerable experience to mentor young professionals as they entered the work force. Audrey's time, treasure and talents allowed her to serve on the Board of Directors for several non-profit organizations, including Sow Good Now, Vision Made and ImperfectMe.

Audrey is the epitome of an unstoppable force. After taking that long break from college and sports to have and raise her family, Audrey returned to Hampton University in 2015 and finished her undergraduate degree in Mass Media Communications as the fulfillment of a promise she made to her mother, Pauline Johnson, who died in 1999. She then immediately earned a Master’s degree in Marketing and Public Relations from Southern New Hampshire University in 2016. Audrey believes that education is a continuous process, and she continues leading by example, as a Doctoral Candidate in the area of Strategic Leadership with Liberty University.

Audrey is also a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated where she is also defining herself as a leader as she joins the charge of her fellow Sorors to effect change and enhance social consciousness. For those who know her, there is nothing more important to Audrey than faith and family. They are the two things that move and motivate her. When one is focused on these areas, all other things fall into place. She believes that it is God’s calling that one must focus on each other and grow together as a community. And as part of the community, we must address issues that impact the family. Family must always come first.
